Expertise
Climate & Environment
With over eight years of hands-on experience analyzing how environmental pressures shape geopolitical landscapes, I support organizations in navigating the intricate intersections between climate dynamics and human security. My work includes conducting risk assessments, crafting evidence-based policy recommendations, and guiding strategic interventions tailored to diverse contexts—from the Amazon in Brazil to resource-scarce regions globally. I also co-hosted the Climate Diplomacy Podcast, elevating discussions on climate-fragility, food security, and environmental governance. Whether through analysis, strategies for adaptation, or communications support, I help translate environmental insights into resilience-building action.
Peace & Security
My expertise lies in weaving together climate diplomacy with peacebuilding. I have led and facilitated stakeholder dialogues—at forums like the Berlin Climate Security Conference—helping to align climate-related goals with security frameworks. Through initiatives like Weathering Risk, I’ve contributed to projects that define pathways linking climate change with peace risks and identify scalable, preventive entry points for resilience and conflict prevention. My contributions also include shaping policy discussions on climate-related security risks within institutions such as the OSCE.
Gender & Inclusion
Central to my work is embedding gender considerations and the inclusion of marginalized and affected communities into every layer of programming—from research to capacity development. At adelphi, I designed and facilitated inclusive workshops, dialogues, and trainings that elevate underrepresented voices within climate–peace–security processes. My research consistently emphasizes locally informed approaches, recognizing that effective natural resource management and adaptation policies hinge on deep engagement with local stakeholders and equitable governance structures.
